The executive director of Laurence Martin Developments in Johannesburg, Laurence Grigorov holds a bachelor of science in engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a postgraduate diploma in management from the university’s business school. After graduation, Laurence Grigorov served for 2 years as a project and maintenance engineer with Unilever and subsequently directed the design and manufacturing of aftermarket automotive filters for PPR Performance Filters.

Since 2004, Laurence Grigorov has overseen residential real estate development and construction for Laurence Martin Developments, a firm that provides services ranging from land sourcing and zoning to architectural design and consumer marketing. In his leadership role, he has managed such projects as the sectional title development Coho in Dunkeld West, a 24-unit, ultra-modern complex featuring such amenities as a clubhouse/pool area, roof gardens with private pools and built-in home automation. He has also overseen the construction of private residences including the Illovo House, an 800-square-meter home that features modern architecture and custom designed furniture.
